Describing 'Stichting Zig/Zag' shortly, it is a small Productiongroup, which mostly – but not only- develops documentaries. The aim of the Foundation is the development, realisation and distribution of film and television documentaries for the Dutch and International market.

Next to productions for film and television, Stichting Zig/Zag produced an experimental documentary video blog in 2005 called tropisms.org, one of the first video blogs ever! The video blog gained a lot of international attention and had more then one million hits over 2 years.

Stichting Zig/Zag was founded in 1987 by a group of friends, filmmakers and artists. The foundation is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. A small group of directors and researchers/scriptwriters is involved in different projects being developed by the foundation. The regular producer of Stichting Zig/Zag is Frank van Reemst.

Several documentaries produced by Stichting Zig/Zag won prestigious awards.
